Kannerstein Field
Join us for the dedication of Kannerstein Field, Saturday April 21 at 12 noon. The renovated baseball facilities are named for “Mr. Haverford”, Greg Kannerstein, who served the College for 41 years.
Haverford College was founded in 1833 as Haverford School by a group of New York and Philadelphia Quakers who sought to create an institution of learning grounded in Quaker values. Though we are nonsectarian today, our Quaker roots influence many of our values and processes.
Haverford attracts intellectually curious, independent learners who value honesty, collaboration, and above all, new ways of seeing and improving the world.
As you perform real-world research and immerse yourself in hands-on learning, you'll work side-by-side with professors who are at the top of their fields.
Our mascot—the Black Squirrel—has a genetic adaptation that gives it a bold, black coat. Join our distinctive community and stand out from the pack with your fellow Haverfordians.
*We have a very tiny magic 8 ball.
