Course Innovation-Renovation Grants
Funding to develop a new course or renovate an existing course with a focus on innovative pedagogy and humanistic research.
Funds may be used for:
- A sequence of class visits and public presentations by one or several outside scholars, experts, or artists whose contributions are integral to the course design
- Off-campus travel to libraries, collections, or other sites by the instructor to conduct research and/or gather materials necessary for course preparation

Access Grants
Financial support for off-campus travel to sites to conduct research or to attend programming linked to research and teaching that is not supported by the Faculty Travel Fund or Faculty Research Fund.
Funds may be used for travel, admission or registration, but not for materials (books, software, etc.).
Course Trip Grants
Financial support for class visits to sites or programs integral to the course.
Grants are one-time awards for courses that have not previously used Center funding for class trips . The Center does not support multiple trips for the same course in subsequent years.
