This spring, Middlebury, together with Amherst, Bowdoin, College of the Holy Cross, Hamilton, Haverford, Swarthmore, Wesleyan, and Williams, will be hosting an informational Zoom series for our collective pre-med communities. This will be a panel discussion entitled Deconstructing the Medical Application Process in which medical schools can discuss how and at what point they use metrics, a personal statement, SJT's, experiences, secondaries, and LORs.
A panel of admissions representatives from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, Tufts University School of Medicine, University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, University of Michigan Medical School, and University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry will candidly discuss how and when the various components of an application are considered and contextualized in their program's evaluative process.
