This interactive half-day session - with lunch included - will provide juniors and seniors with knowledge and resources to get started with the upcoming summer application process for the Fulbright and Watson fellowship programs. Participants will leave with a better understanding of what fellowship programs are looking for, the story they want to tell about their candidacy, and how to structure their grant/project proposals and personal statements.
Past fellowship applicants have shared the key to putting together a strong application is starting the process early - this session can be that head start before the summer application season!
Tentative Agenda:
- Identifying Your Values, Talents, and Goals
- Peer Connections and Story Sharing
- Why You and the Fellowship Are a Good Fit
- Statements, Essays, and Proposals: Getting Started
- Summer Fellowship Advising Preview
