Haverford College Center for Peace & Global Citizenship invites members of the Greater Philadelphia community to a free 10-hour Let's Circle Up workshop. This highly participatory introductory restorative justice (RJ) workshop was developed by men incarcerated at Graterford Prison in 2007, and will be led by experienced Let’s Circle Up facilitators. The four themes addressed in workshop sessions are: rethinking justice, exploring harm, developing restorative approaches, and applying RJ values to our lives.
This workshop is free and will include Haverford and Let's Circle Up community members.

Hello Family, my name is Raymond Tucker. I’m 31 years of age. I’ve been on a Restorative Journey in my life entire adult life. Although I only came to this terminology in about 2018. I attended a workshop at the prison I was housed in & had to become a part of the greater movement. It has opened my eyes even wider, hopefully I can help share my insight & allow the next person/people to be more in-tune with themselves while also acknowledging the greater connection the world as a whole. Peace Always.
Michael Riccio graduated from Haverford College in 2013 with a BA in sociology where he wrote a thesis on the adverse effects of the US criminal legal system upon poor, urban, predominantly black neighborhoods. He got involved with Let’s Circle Up at Graterford as part of his Haverford House project and quickly got hooked on Restorative Justice principles, facilitation, and the grassroots feel of the group. Michael has been a participant or has facilitated Introductory, Advanced, Alumni Project, Steering Committee Meetings and Restorative Integration workshops since joining the group in 2014. He enjoys running, fishing, and reading when he isn’t at the prison. He currently resides in Philadelphia where he works as a paralegal for Philadelphia Legal Assistance.
