Stab vs Coptic Bookbinding Workshop

How does bookbinding affect the way we interact with books? What makes a book lay flat? How does the process of bookbinding help us understand the book as a dynamic structure? This workshop introduces two different bookbinding techniques: stab binding and paired-station coptic binding. Come learn a new skill! All supplies will be provided.

Organized by Honglan Huang, Visiting Assistant Professor of East Asian Languages and Cultures.
