Fire Cider is an herbal tonic that has been used for generations during the colder months to support digestion, immune function, and respiratory wellness.
This warming concoction is made by infusing apple cider vinegar with household ingredients such as garlic, ginger, onion, peppers, turmeric root, horseradish root, citrus, honey, and herbs. This workshop will cover the history of fire cider, the benefits of each ingredient, and explore ways to be creative and intentional in its creation. Every participant will go home with a personalized batch of fire cider in preparation for cold and flu season.
Parking for this program can be found in the South Lot and participants will meet for the class at the Haverfarm Headhouse.
