The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Water, and Localized Actions for Global Progress across Sectors

United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6, Clean Water and Sanitation, aspires to, “ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.” While significant progress has been made in this area, much more is left to be done. Hear from systems thinkers working at the municipal, international, and corporate levels in Philadelphia, the Middle East and North Africa, and around the world. They will share about communications, policy, innovation, and systems change efforts underway to improve access to affordable, quality safe water for all. Learn more about applied efforts to scale justice work across sectors, using data and critical feedback loops to track progress, and the importance of context and cultural fluency in the workplace.

• Nora Pillard Reynolds, Interim Director of Research and Evaluation, ImpactED / Drink Philly Tap  (Philadelphia, PA)

Lunch will be provided to individuals who register and to students in the two connected courses - Impact Investing and Human Rights in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania. Individuals in those two courses do not need to register.
