Congratulations are in order for Josh Kurlantzick'98 who won a prestigious Luce Fellowship this spring.
The highly competitive award, which is open to scholars under the age of 30, will support a year of work and travel in Thailand and East Asia. A political science major who worked as an intern with the Middle East Quarterly in Philadelphia, Kurlantzick will live in Bangkok and work for an English speaking publication. The fellowship also provides an intensive language study program in San Francisco as well as the resources to travel throughout East Asia at the close of his year abroad.
