Associate professor of physics Stephon Alexander is among a group of top young scientists whose cutting edge work is featured in the new book What's Next: Dispatches on the Future of Science. Just out from Vintage, the book collects 18 essays written for the general public by the scientists themselves about their investigations into neuroscience, virology, climate change, evolutionary biology, animal behavior and a wide range of other subjects. Alexander, whose scholarship focuses on theoretical cosmology, quantum gravity and particle physics, contributed an essay titled“Just What is Dark Energy?”
