Career Catalyst Series: Learn to Love Networking with Peter Allen '78
We were excited to welcome Peter Allen '78 back to campus for an engaging presentation to seniors called "Learn to Love Networking."
Peter majored in English and classics at Haverford, earned his Ph.D. in medieval comparative literature at the University of Chicago, and has taught at Princeton, Pomona College, Yale-National University of Singapore College, and elsewhere. He left a tenured faculty position to earn an M.B.A. in strategic management at Wharton and has since worked at McKinsey, Google, and Booking Holdings, among other places. He now has his own executive coaching and consulting firm.
Peter addressed why building the right relationships opens doors to unexpected opportunities and enriches both your personal and professional life. The session included a presentation, Q&A, and practical exercises.
