2023 Regional Intern Outreach Day
On Friday, July 28th Haverford College Arboretum had the privilege of hosting the 2023 Regional Intern Outreach Day. This annual event brings together interns from local public gardens for a day of networking and horticulture work.
Starting at 9 a.m. on a sweltering morning over 80 individuals helped us with a variety of projects including planting, pruning, weeding, greenhouse inventory, and more. The group then convened for a much-needed air-conditioned lunch and networking session before continuing the day with guided tours of nearby Stoneleigh: a natural garden. We look forward to participating in this event, helping out other regional gardens for years to come.
