Between March 2021 and January 2022, the Haverford Corporation distributed a survey among students, staff, faculty, and alumni to gather data about community awareness concerning the work of the Corporation and general attitudes about Quakerism at Haverford. A total of 752 members from the Haverford community responded. The summary of the results were compiled in the spring of 2022, and approved for general distribution at the May meeting of the Haverford Corporation Advisory Committee. Thanks to everyone who participated. The information gathered has been very helpful in the Corporation's recent bylaw revision process and the efforts of the working groups on community engagement and cultural and structural change. Who are the Corporation of Haverford College?
Since its founding in 1833, the Corporation of Haverford College has formally held title to the College and is ultimately responsible for the well-being and governance of the institution. Its current membership comprises about 200 alumni and friends of the College, mostly Quaker.
