As of our December Board of Managers meeting, Haverford has completed the strategic planning process. Better Learning, Broader Impact — The Plan for Haverford 2030 is the result of a collaborative undertaking that actively engaged faculty, staff, students, alumni and parents/families for input throughout. In support of this plan’s actualization, Haverford expects to launch a new comprehensive campaign.
To ensure the success of this new campaign, along with the College’s long-term fundraising progress, the division of Institutional Advancement has launched a comprehensive plan to ensure that Haverford’s fundraising and engagement efforts will grow and touch many more alumni, as well as our parents, families, and other members of the global Haverford community. With more of our alumni, parents and families, and other Haverford community members participating in and supporting our work, we will be even more successful.
To that end, Institutional Advancement is growing its staff in several key areas, including Alumni and Constituent Engagement, Annual Giving, Gift Planning, Foundation Relations, Special Events and Advancement Operations. We are particularly excited to invite applicants from our alumni, and other community members, as we build a dynamic team.

In addition, we are undertaking a national search for a permanent vice president for Institutional Advancement (“VPIA”). Inspired by our mission and aligned with our values of trust, concern, and respect, this individual will be the College’s chief strategist and advisor to the president regarding donor cultivation and stewardship, including through the design and execution of the upcoming comprehensive campaign to support our strategic plan.
