What is your current job?
Founder of EduPlated, an iPhone app in which we match people aspiring to make smarter nutritional decisions with their own dedicated Registered Dietitian coach. All interactions take place through the secure app, thus providing a more convenient and affordable approach to receiving customized nutrition advice.
Why did you choose this profession?
I've personally benefitted from the help of a nutrition coach and I'm passionate about helping others achieve their goals.
What more do you wish to accomplish in your professional career?
Leave a larger impact on the world around me, give back more than I take away and be a better member of the community.
Tell us about a decision or change you made that turned out to be a positive career move.
I left a full-time job at Goldman Sachs to pursue my MBA at Wharton. That decision lead to the launch and ultimate sale of my first technology business. It wasn't an easy process but the juice was worth the squeeze and I'll never regret the decision to become more of an entrepreneur.
How has Haverford influenced your professional career?
We've been on the receiving end of some wonderful talent through our hiring of several Haverford alums. I've also benefitted from the great alumni network, close friendships and reputation of Haverford. The professors with whom I'm still in touch continue to help me throughout my career pursuits.
