Cary Carr (she/her) joined Haverford College as the Director of Health and Wellbeing Education in December of 2023. She oversees health and wellbeing programs and workshops, including those focused on gender-based violence prevention, bystander intervention, alcohol and other drug education, and sexual health. She also meets with students to provide individualized health and wellbeing education, support, and referrals. Cary has experience in violence prevention and response and previously worked at rape crisis centers, domestic violence shelters, and a child abuse advocacy program.
Cary is currently a public health Ph.D. canidate at the University of Florida. She received her Master of Public Health from the University of Florida and her Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Temple University.
