Details
If an order needs to be placed for a DVD or Book, look to Johanna Riordan, and she can help. Riordan is Magill library's Bibliographic and Digital Services Assistant. In addition to receiving the orders placed, she works in the Serials department on the latest journals, magazines and series.
A native of Germantown, Pennsylvania, Riordan knew of Haverford's excellent reputation as a small liberal arts college, and being a Quaker, she knew of others in her Quaker circles who had positive experiences with the college.
Riordan previously worked at Earlham College's library, from which she graduated in 2004 with a degree in Political Science. At Earlham, she worked at the Circulation desk and then in Acquisitions.
She enjoys tracking new materials for the library and seeing them delivered to the library. She has enjoyed her time with the other staff members at the library. She also looks forward to meeting more students at Haverford.
Riordan is completing her Master of Library Science at Drexel University.
Riordan is a new aunt, who cannot wait to spoil her nephew rotten. In her free time, she enjoys ceramics, knitting, crocheting, weaving, camping, canoeing, hiking, cooking, baking, and reading.
