The Fords in Finance Alumni Affinity Group, Center for Career and Professional Advising, and the Office of Alumni & Family Engagement hosted a virtual event on October 17, 2024, to educate current Tri-Co students about the various career pathways within financial services.
The virtual event began with a short presentation from Annika Ulrich HC'18, (Current MBA Candidate @ Northwestern Kellogg and former Investment Associate at Berkeley Endowment Management Company) and Isfar Munir HC'18 (Associate Director - Portfolio Management) where they will provide an overview of the various areas within financial services.
The event concluded with a panel Q&A including alumni from different finance verticals where they shared information about identifying job roles of interest, navigating the recruiting process, and networking tips.

- Iris Xu HC'22- Investment Banking Analyst at Citi (Investment Banking)
- Grace Mathis HC'19 - Climate Tech VC at Hitachi Ventures (Venture Capital)
- Sam Millie HC'24 - Event Driven Desk Analyst at Citi (Sales & Trading)
- Elena Filograna HC'22 - Investment Analyst at William Penn Foundation (Investments)
The panel was moderated by Cayley Montoya HC'20 (Current MBA Candidate at Columbia Business School and Former Investment Analyst at William Penn Foundation (Asset Management).
