Corporation Standing Nomination Committee (CSNC)
Opening: 1 staff representative
Appointment: 3 years
The Corporation Standing Nomination Committee (CSNC) is responsible for nominating candidates for membership in the Corporation, Corporation members on the Board of Managers, the Corporation Associates Program, Officers of the Corporation, and members of the Corporation Standing Committees.
The Committee meets 5 – 6 times a year, online, with meetings being 2 hours in length. Additionally, attendance at the all-day Annual Corporation Meeting in April (usually on a Saturday) while not required, is highly recommended if permitted.
The Staff Association Executive Committee (SAEC) strives for diverse and proportional staff representation on the SAEC and other College committees by identifying and electing and/or appointing Staff Representatives from across all College divisions and employment classifications. If you don't feel well-represented, please consider volunteering! We are invested in ensuring participation is accessible for all staff, so if you are concerned that your service would be an undue burden for you or your department, please contact an SAEC member to discuss ways to make the opportunity feasible.
