Watkins.
As part of Black History Month, hear the terrific music, and learn about the amazing lives, of William Grant Still, Quinn Mason, Florence Price and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor. The performances are by members of the Haverford-Bryn Mawr College instrumental program, including a performance by the Haverford-Bryn Mawr College Orchestra from the Fall of 2019.
Watch an interview about the incredible life and musical journeys of David L. Watkins, a violinist who has performed with the Haverford-Bryn Mawr College Orchestra since 2014. In the 1970’s he performed with the Afro-American Symphony and toured with Stevie Wonder!
