Matthew Denton ’24
Matt is a senior English major from Cinnaminson, New Jersey, and he is excited to return as a policy advisor at the Hurford Center this year. On campus, he is on Haverford's cross country and track teams, and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Clerk for a semester. He likes playing board games, listening to music and watching Philly sports.

Kaiya Inouye ’27
Kaiya is a freshman from Honolulu, Hawai’i and potentially majoring in Political Science with a concentration in Peace, Justice, and Human Rights. In addition to her time at the HCAH, she also works at the Race and Ethnicity Education Office and is a peer mentor for the Reproductive Health Club. In her free time, she enjoys photography, boogie boarding at the beach, hiking, thrifting, doing puzzles with her friends, and listening to music, specifically artists that no one has ever heard of before.

Aby Isakov ’24
Aby is a self-designed Visual Studies major and Sociology minor at Haverford. At the Hurford Center, she has been helping primarily with videography and photography and looks forward to making the most out of her last year working with the Hurford crew. Outside of this role, Aby is also a Visual Studies program Rep and works at the Production/Media cage at VCAM. In her free time, she watches and makes weird films, gives haircuts to the bi-co, and rides her little orange bike around while blasting music in her headphones.

Sooyeon Jung ’25
Sooyeon is a junior from Allentown, PA and is majoring in Chemistry with a concentration in Peace, Justice, and Human Rights. Sooyeon has been involved with the HCAH since the fall of 2022 and loves working there. Apart from HCAH, Sooyeon is the Co-Head of Residential Life and a member of the Chemistry Student Group. When she’s not working, she’s busy watching Criminal Minds and Law and Order: SVU.

Fatema Mun '25
Fatema Mun is a junior from West Chester, PA. She is majoring in political science with a minor in comparative literature. She loves all things Hurford Center and is excited to be on the team as a student policy advisor! Besides working at the HCAH, Fatema is a member of HAUTE, FAB, and is a tutor at the Writing Center. She loves graphic design, watching animated shows, drinking coffee, and eating Cava bowls.

Alex Nathanson ’25
Alex is a junior from New York City. He’s a Growth and Structure of Cities major and an Environmental Studies minor. Aside from working at the HCAH, I enjoy drawing, playing soccer, and watching YouTube videos.

Umika Pathak ’25
Umika is a junior from Falls Church, VA who is majoring in English. In addition to the HCAH, Umika spends her time working as a tutor for the writing center, baking for her roommates, hosting game nights with her roommates (her favorite is Code Names), and watching limited series.

Lyali Pereda Figueroa ’26
Lyali is a sophomore from Puerto Rico potentially majoring in Comparative Literature and Spanish. She loves the arts and humanities, so she is very excited to be working with the HCAH. Outside of the HCAH, she is also a Maker’s Space Technician, does a cappella with the Melanines, and teaches Karate in Ardmore. She loves the beach, photography, doodling, listening to music and reading.

Danielle Plotnick ’25
Dani is a junior English and Fine Arts double major from Westchester, NY. She is very excited to finally get more involved with the HCAH by serving as a student policy advisor! She loves all things art-related, and is the co-president of the Haverford College Art Collective, as well as a board member of Spotlight Theater Co. and a co-head of WHRC radio. In her free time, she loves watching animated movies, making miniature frog sculptures out of clay, and playing board games with her friends.

Rosario Lozada Franco ’25
Rosario is a junior from San Juan, Puerto Rico, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Environmental Studies and a concentration in Latin American Studies. In addition to working in HCAH, Rosario works as a tour guide and host at the Admissions Office and she is the Honor Council Librarian. She is also involved with the WHRC Radio Station and the Puerto Rican Student Alliance! She is very passionate about her kitten Río, discovering new music to add to her huge music dump playlist she needs to go through (hold her accountable), reading for fun, and cute coloring books! You’ll most likely see her around campus walking and talking, either on the phone with her parents or with anyone she catches along the way - don’t hesitate in joining her on her walks to and fro!

Benjamin Zheng ’25
Benjamin is a junior from Shanghai looking to have a great time at Haverford. He is double majoring in economics and philosophy, knowing the risk of leading a boring life. But for now, he writes poetry, plays badminton, and does Mock Trial. If you see an Asian guy with a computer bag power walking all the time, that’s likely him. Please don’t refrain from stopping him on his way, for he has no better thing to do than chat with you, dear friends.
