Classical languages major Paul Brucia Breitenfeld ’19 authored a senior thesis that explored cultural allusions in a second-century North African Latin novel as a way of understanding the reach and oppression of the Roman empire.

Out of Alaska - Amira Abujara '17

Amira Abujbara '17, an English major and environmental studies minor, is a Doha-based journalist who teamed up with native Hawaiian filmmaker Ciara Lacy for a documentary that shines a light on the ongoing challenges facing the tight-knit rural community of Iliamna, Alaska.
