Equipment
Each machine in the Maker Arts Space has a different type of access. This is because some machines require special knowledge to operate safely. Below is a list of main equipment items in the maker space and their access level.
That said, even if a machine has green access and you have never used it before (hammer for example) please ask for assistance.

- G This can be used by all visiting students
Green Access: Can be used by all visiting students.
- B This can be used by visiting students after training
Blue Access: Can be used by visiting students after training.
- Y This can only be operated by trained student workers and technician
Yellow Access: Can only be operated by trained student workers and technician.
- R This can only be operated by Maker Arts Space technician
Red Access: Can only be operated by Maker Arts Space technician.
Form 2 Resin Printer Y This can only be operated by trained student workers and technician
Graphtec Vinyl Cutter B This can be used by visiting students after training
Laser Cutter Y This can only be operated by trained student workers and technician
Prusa Mk3 3D Printer Y This can only be operated by trained student workers and technician
Sewing Machines B This can be used by visiting students after training
Shop Bot CNC Router R This can only be operated by Maker Arts Space technician
