Haverford CollegeLibraries
Print, Scan, Copy
We have networked black-and-white printers available in all libraries. Color printing, poster printing, scanning, and copying is available in select locations.
Black & White Printing
Networked black & white printers are available in all Haverford libraries.
Color Printing
Public color printing is available in both Lutnick Library and White Science Library through color Multi-Function Printer machines (MFPs).
Poster Printing
This service is available to:
- TriCo students enrolled in a Haverford course that requires a poster
- Haverford students enrolled in a course at Bryn Mawr, Swarthmore, or Penn that requires a poster
- Haverford students, faculty, and staff who need a poster for non-curricular purposes
E-mail your request (with your poster attached as either a PDF or JPG) to rahochberg [at] haverford.edu (Rachel Hochberg) at least 24 hours in advance (not counting Saturday or Sunday) of when it is needed. If the poster is for a class presentation event, a Submit-by-date will be given to you by the professor, which is usually 1 week before the presentation event. This timing ensures that posters are ready in time for your event.
Printing for Course assignments is free of charge. Posters for science courses are done through the KINSC unless they are booked up. Posters needed for clubs, organizations or personal use for Haverford students, faculty, and staff will cost $10 ( cash or check is accepted) and subject to scheduling and other availability.
Poster Sessions in Lutnick provide the option for both printed posters and digital posters that are displayed on the 5 Samsung FlipBoards in the Digital Scholarship Commons. See the Poster Instructions for creating physical and digital posters.
Scanning
Public scanning is available in all libraries using the Multi-Function Printer machines (MFP) and is free of charge. Scans can be sent to an email address or saved to a USB drive.
Faculty engaged in course-related projects involving significant numbers of digital images may wish to contact Julie Coy to learn about shared image collections in the ARTstor digital library.
