What is your current job?
I finish up my MBA at NYU's Stern School of Business in May. In June I'll be starting as an Associate Brand Manager in Hasbro's marketing rotational program after interning at Hasbro last summer. I'll be rotating through Global Product & Marketing, US Regional Marketing, and Digital Marketing for Play-Doh.
Why did you choose this profession?
I wanted a role where I could combine analytical and creative skills that I could be passionate about. Brand Management seemed like a great fit and my summer internship at Hasbro confirmed that this is exactly what I want to be doing.
What more do you wish to accomplish in your professional career?
I'd like to become excellent at what I do, to keep learning, and to push my creative thinking.

After I graduated from Haverford I worked in market research at NAXION Thinking. I had a great experience there, but I felt like it wasn't exactly what I wanted to be doing and I was interested in seeing what else was out there. I applied to business school with a vague idea of what I wanted to do. Business school exposed me to roles and companies I wasn't aware existed and ended up helping me transition into brand management.
How has Haverford influenced your professional career?
I cannot emphasize enough how crucial the analytical thinking skills I honed at Haverford have been to my job in market research, throughout business school projects, and in my internship last summer. As a Classics major, I learned how to gather, synthesize, and make sense of information from all sorts of sources and I've used that skill in every role I've had. Additionally, being part of the Track and Cross Country teams at Haverford prepared me for for team situations work and at school.
