Bricolage Co-op Brings D.I.Y. Spirit to Haverford

Bricolage Co-op is a new student-run organization, born last spring from an anthropology course taught by Assistant Professor Joshua Moses. The group aims to foster community through D.I.Y. (do-it-yourself) projects, skills sharing, and exchanges of member-made items.

COOKING THE COLLECTION: English Cake

The Library's Dig Into The Archives series recently took a look at historical recipes. We wondered what the food would taste like, so we are beginning a series called Cooking the Collection on the Haverblog and on the college’s official Facebook page, featuring some of these old-timey sweets.

English cake is a citrus-y, only slightly sweet loaf cake. Recipes have been modified with modern measurements and instructions, and have easy-to-follow, step-by-step videos. Photo: Patrick Montero

Cool Classes: Mathematics Beyond Calculus
