David Roza ’15, an English major and cross-country member, will spend his summer interning at The Portland Tribune. Roza will work with newsroom staffers to learn journalistic principles and write stories during his internship. He is especially interested in reporting on environmental issues and writing profiles about local residents.

Astronomy at APO

Assistant Professor of Astronomy Beth Willman led a group of students over spring break to observe at the Apache Point Observatory in New Mexico. Haverford is part of the Northeast Participation Group, a consortium of a handful of small schools leasing time on the APO 3.5m from the Astrophysical Research Consortium (ARC).
