Our ambitious multi-year plan to preserve, revitalize, and renew Haverford's award-winning Arboretum has entered the third of five phases. During the current phase, continued progress will be made toward our goal of planting 1,000 new trees by 2027, as well removing trees in decline.
The Arboretum is home to more than 5,000 trees, and maintaining their health is an integral part of our mandate. Donations supporting the revitalization help keep the campus safe and beautiful, and preserve Haverford's beloved natural resources for generations to come.
