The Arboretum has a longstanding tradition of planting trees on Arbor Day. First observed at Haverford on April 4, 1902, representatives of the Pennsylvania Forestry Association came out to the campus to celebrate the holiday.

On Sunday, April 27 at 3 PM, the Haverford-Bryn Mawr College Chorale will perform their Spring Concert. 

Every other Tuesday during the active volunteer season (April - October) the Arboretum hosts volunteer workdays open to the community.
