Additional Course Info | Class Number: 2681 This course is deigned as an in-depth exploration into the field of Social Psychology. Topics include impression formation, perceiving groups, social identity, attitudes/persuasion, social influence, group processes, aggression/altruism, and interpersonal attraction will be discussed. in addition to these specific topic areas, overarching themes and theoretical issues, within the field of social psychology will be emphasized throughout the course. Students will become familiar with the research that has contributed to the current social psychology knowledge base.; Prerequisite(s): PSYC 100 or PSYC B105 or Psychology AP Score of 4 or instructor consent; Enrollment Limit: 35; Lottery Preferences: (1) Psych major/minor seniors, (2) Psych major/minor juniors, (3) Sophomores, (4) non-psych seniors, (5) non-psych juniors, and (6) first-year students Social Science, B: Analysis of the Social World (; Hav: SO, B) |
