Additional Course Info | Class Number: 2843 This course will cover the many natural phenomena from climate modeling to game theory to quantum mechanics benefit from the theory and practice of partial differential equations (PDE). We will discuss modeling, analysis and simulations of solutions to PDE with the focus on analysis. Analysis I is a prerequisite for this reason. We will discuss ordinary differential equations (ODE) with a view toward PDE techniques, but no prior differential equations course is required.; Prerequisite: MATH 317 or permission of instructor; Enrollment Limit: 15 Natural Science, Quantitative, C: Physical and Natural Processes (; Hav: NA, QU, C) |
