Additional Course Info | Class Number: 1815 An exploration of the ways in which different cultural, economic, and political settings have shaped issue emergence and policy making. We examine the politics of particular environmental issues in selected countries and regions, paying special attention to the impact of environmental movements. We also assess the prospects for international cooperation in addressing global environmental problems such as climate change. Pre-requisite ENVS B101 or ENVS H101 or instructor's permission.; Current topic description: An exploration of the ways in which different cultural, economic, and political settings have shaped issue emergence and policy making.
