Students have arrived for Customs Week, our first-year student orientation program.
The 323 students in the Class of 2013 were selected from among 3,404 applicants. They come from 37 different states, Washington, DC and Puerto Rico, and 17 foreign countries. Twenty-eight percent are students of color, and for 27% one or both parents did not attend college. Fifteen percent speak a language other than English at home, and 94% were in the top 10% of their high school class.
