Led by professors Anne Preston and Anita Isaacs, a team of Haverford students is working to combat misinformation about immigration and immigrants by collecting and sharing personal stories from migrants in Mexico about their immigration and deportation experiences.

The varied research interests of Professor of Physics and Astronomy Suzanne Amador Kane delve into soft condensed matter physics and statistical physics, but it is her work in biological physics—which uses the tools of physics to better understand living organisms—that has attracted widespread attention in recent years.

Along with teaching courses in calculus, geometry, and linear algebra, Senior Lecturer of Mathematics and Statistics Jeff Tecosky-Feldman directs the Chesick Summer Institute, a vital part of the Chesick Scholars Program, a four-year academic mentoring and leadership program for under-represented, under-resourced, or first-generation Haverford students that includes a residential summer program.
